The second Saudi Entertainment and Amusement Expo in Riyadh will see Embed demonstrate its new Mobile Wallet.
The cashless management systems provider has developed what it regards as a major breakthrough for the FECs industry. The wallet provides a gamecard that can be added to the Apple Wallet and Google Pay and used to play games.
It has exactly the same functionality as a regular gamecard but as it is in the guest’s mobile wallet they can tap and reload without having to leave the game. It also helps operators drive return visits and monitor customer behaviour.
“This development and offer makes Embed the only non-banking finance-payment or loyalty-card business and brand card that sits in the mobile wallet,” said Renee Welsh, CEO of the Helix Leisure solutions group. “It enables any business currently using the Embed Toolkit system (kiosk, game cards, Smarttouch readers and range of business solutions) to simply add the Mobile Wallet module to their existing business solution and offer it to their customers."
The cloud-based solution means that operators can bundle offers, drive repeat visits and improve customer loyalty. For the players it means no more standing in line and not having to leave the game. Its information is protected by advanced security and encrypted mobile technology so that there are no more problems with lost game cards.
The player purchases and registers the physical game card in the mobile portal, either at the kiosk or online via mobile. The portal shows a virtual card featuring card balance check and ticket balance. There is an option to add the virtual card to the Mobile Wallet. Game play follows with the tap reloading facility and even prizes can be redeemed through the wallet.
The device will be demonstrated at SEA on booth 1DII.
